Dr. Zhu is distinguished Professor and doctoral supervisor of Hunan Normal University, Leading Talent of Science and Technology Innovation of Hunan Province, Visiting Scholar of Humboldt Foundation of Germany, Deputy Director of Key Laboratory of Computational and Stochastic Mathematics of Ministry of Education, Director of Key Laboratory of Control and Optimization of Complex Systems of Hunan Province.He is mainly engaged in the stability and control theory and application of Markov processes and stochastic nonlinear systems, and has made a series of important progress.In the field of Control in the international top journals Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and other journals published more than 200 SCI indexed papers.He was awarded the first prize of Natural Science Award of Hunan Province (the First Complete Adult), the first prize of Natural Science Award of Universities in Jiangsu Province (the First Complete Adult), the Global Most Cited Scholar List for five consecutive years from 2018 to 2022, the Global Top 2% Top Scientists List for three consecutive years from 2020 to 2022, and the Elsevier China Most Cited Scholar List for eight consecutive years from 2014 to 2021.He presided over 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 9 provincial and ministerial level projects, and undertook 1 key project of National Natural Science Foundation as the second participant.He is currently the 9th Executive Director of the Chinese Society of Engineering Probability and Statistics, Member of the System and Control Mathematics Committee of the Chinese Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, member of the Adaptive Dynamic Programming and Reinforcement Learning Committee of the Chinese Society of Automation, and IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and TechnologyAssociate editor or editorial board member of 6 international SCI journals such as Engineering.
