Biography: Dr. Zhu Quanxin is a Xiaoxiang Scholar and Doctoral Supervisor at Hunan Normal University, a Leading Talent of the Science and Technology Innovation Program in Hunan Province, a Furong Scholar of Hunan Province, and a Visiting Scholar of the Humboldt Foundation. He is also Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Computing and Stochastic Mathematics (Ministry of Education), Director of the Key Laboratory of Control and Optimization of Complex Systems of Hunan Universities, and Senior Member of IEEE. Dr. Zhu is mainly engaged in theoretical and applicational research of the Markov process and the stability and control of stochastic nonlinear systems and has made major progress. So far, he has published more than 200 SCI papers in top international journals in the field of control, such as Automatica and IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control. Moreover, he has won the first prizes in the Natural Science Award of Hunan Province and the Natural Science Award of Jiangsu University (both as the first author). He has been included in the Global Highly Cited Researchers 2018-2022 List, the top 2% Global Top Scientists 2020-2022 List, and Elsevier's China Highly Cited Scholars 2014-2021 List. Dr. Zhu has chaired over five projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and nine projects at provincial and ministerial levels and has undertaken one key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China as the second participant. Now he serves as the ninth Executive Director of China Engineering Probability & Statistics Society, a member of the Professional Committee of Systems and Control Mathematics of the China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, a member of the Professional Committee of Adaptive Dynamic Programming and Reinforcement Learning of Chinese Association of Automation, and Deputy Editor-in-chief or Editorial Board Member of six international SCI journals such as IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering. Speech Title: Stabilization and event-triggered control problem of stochastic delay systems

Abstract:In this report, we introduce the the event-triggered feedback control problem of stochastic nonlinear delay systems with exogenous disturbances. By introducing the notation of input-to-state practical stability and an event-triggered strategy, we establish the input-to-state practically exponential mean-square stability of the suggested system. Moreover, we investigate the stabilization result by designing the feedback gain matrix and the eventtriggered feedback controller, which is expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Also, the lower bounds of inter-execution times by the proposed event-triggered control method are obtained. Finally, an example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. Compared with large number of results for discrete-time stochastic systems, only a few results have appeared on the event-triggered control for continuous-time stochastic systems. In particular, there has been no published papers on the event-triggered control for continuous-time stochastic delay systems. Our work is a first try to fill the gap on the topic.
